Travel by bush plane to your oasis in South Africa — Sir Richard Branson’s Private Game Reserve, Ulusaba – a place we feel at home and are delighted to share with our guests!  A place where your pulse quickens, heart races and senses aroused … and you haven’t arrived to your room yet!! Pampered is an understatement for this trip.

Once through customs, you will be greeted by your driver who will take you to the private luxury departure lounge located adjacent to Johannesburg International Airport. You will depart from this lounge on your bush plane which will land at the private airstrip of the lodge. Whilst at the lounge, you can enjoy complimentary bar services, showers, snacks and wireless and internet facilities. Be sure to visit the curio upon arrival as you may not have the extra time during the return. Make no mistake, this flight is roughing it compared to your last flight however, the spectacular view more than makes up for it.

Upon arrival to the lodge’s private airstrip, you will be greeted by your personal ranger & tracker, who will accompany you on game drives during your stay. Take in the beautiful scenery and make a champagne toast — you have arrived! Travel to your lodge, enjoy your surroundings and get ready for your first game drive. Afterwards, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a vast table and share the days’ experience with other lodge guests. Be sure and invite your Ranger & Tracker to at least one dinner — it is great fun! Enjoy a beverage with your host at the bar afterward, but be mindful — game drive wake up call is very early!

Your time will be filled with exciting adventure whilst in the reserve. You will experience amazing sunrises and breathtaking sunsets. Star gaze from private observatory! Take twice-daily games drives where you will no doubt get up close and personal to the Big 5 (cape buffalo, lion, rhino, leopard and ellies) not to mention cheetahs, giraffe, warthogs, wilddogs and so much more! BEWARE! The animals will take your breath away and people will steal your heart.
