May 4-24 — South Africa, Indaba
We will be attending Indaba, ‘one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African calendar and one of the top three ‘must visit’ events of its kind on the global calendar.’

And, of course, we’re checking others out for you since we won’t take you anywhere we haven’t been ourselves. We’ll be spending an extra week visiting several lodges to ensure they are up to your luxury standards!

February 22-24, 2008 —
Boston Globe Travel Show
Thanks to all who visited us at the Boston Globe Travel Show. Your overwhelming response brought us to ‘tiers!’ Because some of you want a travel adventure with it all and others prefer to take it bit by bit, we are now offering our travel tours at different price points — providing the luxury you expect, with several options available for the accommodation and travel portions.

February 15-17, 2008 — World Trade Center Boston
We were at the National Golf Expo where we launched our destination Golf Safari Expedition. This trip entertains the most discerning player and includes excursions for non-playing guests at all venues! It is a must for all golf enthusiasts and for those who encourage them! 9 days, 7 cities and 5 of South Africa’s finest golf courses — and that’s just half of the expedition! Golf hazards on this expedition will delight players as warthogs, giraffe, impala and other game occasionally grace the fairways. The crocodiles will give the golfers a whole new insight for the necessity of a drop zone!

January 26, 2008 — Cocktail Party...
A Good time had by all!
It was a pleasure to meet all who came to the cocktail party for the meet & greet and a taste of South Africa! Kevin Wery of Druid Hill Studios outdid himself transforming the ballroom into a South African lodge. Ulusaba’s Head Ranger, Duard Terblanche, arrived fresh from South Africa and brought his rugged good looks, charm, wit, stunning photos and vast knowledge! Samba Cisse and his band rocked the room. The Act One Creative team were proud parents as we unveiled our website and brand logo. And, of course, Magi & David were delighted to meet the many guests and chat them up and share their passion over a few cocktails! We were treated and thrilled by your enthusiasm and response and look forward to traveling with you soon!

January 6, 2008 — Destination Wedding, Destination Honeymoon, Destination AFRICA! ImagineXpeditions participated in the Wedding Day Expo and debuted its themed wedding and/or honeymoon destination for the romantic and adventurous couple. We reminded couples that Africa is an experience they have never had before, and never will again … sound familiar? The event was held at the World Trade Center in Boston (we seem to be there a lot!). 

November 13, 2007 — New York City Firefighters Foundation Benefit
We made a whirlwind trip to New York City and attended The Bash For New York’s Bravest – an annual event which benefits Denis Leary’s Firefighters Foundation. The event was held at the fabulous and swanky, Cipriani’s. Not only did we get the chance to meet Denis in addition to the cast and crew of RESCUE ME, we also went to the VIP pre-party and met with some of New York, Boston and New Orleans’ finest and bravest firefighters! ImagineXpeditions was proud to make the donation to the Foundation as well as have a great time attending the event and winning a couple of great items at the silent auction! Those New Yorker’s know how to have great time!
